Our Account Managers play a vital role in growing our business through the successful management of an account portfolio, developing and implementing plans that increase our brand visibility. The role is for an account manager to lead Northern Europe, covering Germany, Netherlands, Benelux, Nordics and eastern Europe, this would involve working directly with clients and also our preferred distributors in each of the countries. The role is home based, though expectation of quarterly visits to the UK head office, attending key European shows and approx. 3 days a week meeting with clients/key influencers is essential.

Purpose of the Role:
  • Responsible for the successful management of an account portfolio, developing and implementing plans that deliver growth and increased brand visibility for Craster.
  • Implementation of strategic commercial and marketing plans within the region
  • Achievement of annual and quarterly budgeted sales targets, and individual objectives as directed by your line manager
  • To provide a 5* experience in all client interactions, offering consultation and support. Acting as an expert in selling goods to customers that meet their needs and desires
  • Delivering personal sales revenues through robust commercial relationships with end clients and distributors
Responsibilities of the Role:
  • Build annual account plans and forecasts in line with the regional commercial and marketing plans, and review performance on a monthly basis taking remedial action to ensure achievement of budgeted targets
  • Provide accurate documentation to support all commercial contracts and terms agreements. Maintain these on an annual basis
  • Develop plans to support all new product development initiatives across the portfolio
  • Identify any training and support required for key Distributors and partners and liaise with the Business Development Team for implementation
  • Conduct Quarterly business reviews with the top 10 clients
  • Attend shows and events to assist in set-up, managing sales leads, talking to potential new clients and existing distributors and partners
  • Follow new trends and suggest alternative ways to market to our clients
  • Tracking & reporting on competitor activity
  • Delivery of personal sales performance targets and KPIs and meeting all MSOP at all times
  • Ensure all personnel within Craster are aware of appropriate man marking responsibilities within your account portfolio. Engineer the appropriate meetings to facilitate appointments between Craster personnel from other departments and their counterparts in the account portfolio as appropriate
  • Providing cover for other personnel when required
Requirements
  • Willing to travel for business in line with requirements of customers.
  • Minimum 4 years experience in an active sales or client support role. 2 years experience within Hospitality is essential
  • Experience working with and promoting distributors as re-sellers of a retail product
  • High level of Presentation and Negotiation skills to best support the reputation and profitability of the business
  • Proactive account management skills to set and monitor targets of partners and distributors
  • Personable and with gravitas to find and interact with key customer decision makers within the 5-Star and Luxury Goods Hotel and Restaurant Industry.
  • Networking and Relationship builder – the ability to find and build long term relationships with the hospitality industry.
  • Collaborative and able to work across all functions to achieve sales and business goals
  • Excellent Microsoft Office user skills – especially Excel
  • Ability to influence, manage and motivate others
  • Proactive management & improvement of the customer experience
  • Working knowledge & experience of the sales order & delivery process
  • Is proactive, and demonstrates a high level of self-management and initiative
  • High standard of verbal and written communication skills
  • Additional languages (by agreement dependent on region)
We offer
  • Salary: €55,000.00 - €65,000.00 per year with additional bonus and commission for on target achievements.
