Job description
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and the direct supervision of the Programme Coordinator (Shelter/NFI/WASH/SMS), the successful candidate will contribute to effective refugee response in Poland by providing leadership and support to the national Accommodation/Housing/Shelter sector coordination mechanism to ensure partner activities are in line with national and global sector policies, strategic directions, and relevant standards. She/he will work in close collaboration with co-coordinating agency(s), the Government of Poland and sector partners at national and municipal level.
The Sector Co-coordinator supports the Sector to enable partners to respond more effectively to the needs of the affected population by ensuring a coordinated approach across geographical locations, sites and organizations. In the context of the refugee response, the sector coordinator will work with partners engaged in the provision and management of collective shelters, provision of temporary individual accommodation and access to housing.
The Sector Co-coordinator works on behalf of the sector, facilitating sector activities and contributing to the development and maintenance of a strategic vision and operational response plan. She/he also ensures coordination with other sectors in relation to inter-sector activities and cross-cutting issues.

Fluency in English is required (oral and written). Working knowledge of Polish, Russian, and/or Ukrainian is an advantage.
