We are currently looking for a person for the position of:

Business Development Manager

Place of work: Mielec, podkarpackie

 

This unique role combines the responsibilities of Business Development with procurement management, focusing on technical purchasing for maintenance, spare parts, services, and waste management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, leading a central procurement unit, and managing relationships with key suppliers.

Your responsibilities:

  • Create and implement procurement strategies aligned with business priorities.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and seek new suppliers.
  • Monitor costs, drive cost-saving initiatives, and ensure budget discipline.
  • Oversee supplier selection and evaluation processes.
  • Lead and develop the central procurement team, setting goals and tracking performance.
  • Implement solutions to optimize procurement efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with different locations and departments to meet procurement needs.

Our expectations:

  • Proven experience in business development and procurement management, preferably in technical purchasing for at least 3 years.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
  • Experience in team management and the development of procurement strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to achieving cost savings and process improvement.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple departments and locations.
