Chief Accountant

Warszawa

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain full accounting books in accordance with applicable regulations.
Prepare and submitting tax returns (CIT, VAT, WHT, and others).
Prepare reports for external institutions (GUS, NBP, and others).
Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Supervise the proper flow of accounting documents and internal processes.
Monitor regulatory changes and adapting accounting procedures accordingly.
Optimize and improving accounting processes.
Represent the company during external audits and in dealings with the Social Insurance - Institution (ZUS) and other authorities.
Collaborate closely with other departments within the organization.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

5+ years of experience as a Chief Accountant.
Strong practical knowledge of Polish accounting standards and current tax regulations.
Higher education in accounting or a related field.
Proven ability to design and implement accounting processes and procedures.
High level of conscientiousness, accuracy, and dedication to assigned responsibilities.
Polish C1+ and English B2+.
Ability to work from our office in Wroclaw.

Nice-to-have skills:

Knowledge of Comarch Optima.
